March 10, 2026  NextOceans motion radar installation on Windcat’s Elevation series

We are proud to announce the successful installation of our vessel motion prediction system WavePredictor on Windcat Amsterdam, a Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) operated by Windcat. The Amsterdam is vessel #2 of a series of 6 vessels coming on steam over the next 12 months.

The installation was carried out by NextOceans engineering and project team in coordination with the crew on board.

CSOV vessels play a vital role in servicing offshore wind farms, supporting crew transfers, technician access and walk-to-work operations in demanding sea states. The installation of our WavePredictor on Windcat Amsterdam will help the vessel gain real-time visibility into upcoming motion conditions such as helping them identify safe operational windows for gangway connections and personnel transfers.

This adds to NextOceans growing footprint across the offshore wind service fleet, reinforcing our commitment to help operators run safer and more predictable operations at sea.
